Pray for Baby

Please keep Carrie in your prayers, she started having some complications yesterday morning that lasted all day so she went into the hospital. They did some blood work, tests, and an ultrasound. She has lost some weight, and her blood pressure has dropped from 150 to 100, among other things. The baby looks good so far so that is good, but she has been put on bed rest for at least a week.

Bed rest means that she can’t work so that is going to be a test of faith as they have bills to pay and not a lot of extra money laying around. But of course she is more concerned with the babies health and her own health at this point than money or work.

Please pray that she will be encouraged, obviously it is a pretty scary thing, and anyone who has ever been pregnant and had complications knows that you totally freak out. Pray that God will give her peace and guard the little life.

(Oh, and the baby was being stubborn during the ultrasound so they weren’t able to tell if it is a boy or girl yet. She is 15 weeks now so they told her to come back when she is 18 weeks and they will try again.)
