Please Pray for my Grandma Ducommun. She has had Hepatitis and Diabetes for many years but has been having more and more health problems lately, and has been in and out of the hospital because of it. The two diseases kind of work against each other and cause all of these problems. She has been planning to sell her condo and move into an assisted living place where she can still be pretty independent but doesn’t have to worry about cooking and will have people there when she needs them, but she wasn’t planning to move until spring or summer when the real estate market goes back up.
She is back in the hospital now because she has been having blackouts (because of the diabetes) and will probably have to speed up the moving process.
She has a beautiful home and is very tidy so moving and selling her home should be fairly easy, but it will probably be hard for her to not have all her independence anymore.
For those who don’t know her, she is very much like me, she is goofy and crazy and funny. She loves sweets (which is bad since she has diabetes!! J) She loves shopping and antiques and (unlike most older people) her house is beautiful and very well decorated and always smells like cinnamon. She is a wonderful person who I love very dearly.
